Yadon
Description
Like all angels, Yadon is possessed of great height and bearing as well as a glorious set of long, feathery white wings. Over seven and a half feet tall and over 250 pounds, he is powerfully built and radiates magnificence. Yadon's skin is deeply tanned from the ages spent basking in Naiok’s presence. He has short-cropped brown hair and soul-piercing black eyes. Yadon's torso is sheathed in fine leather armor emblazed with the face of Naiok, when expecting battle. He always carries the deva's symbol of status: a golden heavy mace. Otherwise, Yadon can be expected in a simple yellow tunic with sigils of the sun in Celestial found on his tunic edges.
History
Four thousand years ago, the City of Bright Horizons, also called Sunfar, received Yadon. This astral deva enjoyed the parentage of pure love and compassion. This bright city, located in the heart of Celestia, was dedicated to the great sun god, Naiok. As soon as Yadon came of age, he followed his parents' footsteps as an aide to his god. In Sunfar's great temples of gold, the angel studied and served Naiok’s will. He tended these heavenly shrines as an acolyte. For millennia, Yadon fulfilled these humble tasks. However, the time finally came for the deva to prove to his god that he was worthy of more than the lowly rank of acolyte. The coming conflict of Rylokam rematching his vampiric lieutenant, Kaine, loomed. Pelor himself dispatched Yadon to Cael to help the heroes of that world defeat these deific undead villains. Arriving to Steele of Artos, Yadon's quest began.
Personality
Yadon is an angel and embodies all the traits one would associate with his kind. He seems content, gentle, and compassionate. The deva also radiates a sense of colorful purity. And yet, Yadon is driven and fearless. His religious fervor grants him profound faith in Naiok and the nature of reality. Yadon loves all things, even when he knows a thing must be destroyed for the well being of the earth.
Goals
Yadon will pursue the Cleric class to mastery (20th level) then multi-class, probably as a Hierophant.
