On the predominantly aquatic world of Glee Anselm, the Nenres performed the humble work of seaweed farming. They managed a small plot, in which Vorraga not only learned the family trade but pursued the secret life of an “innocent”—a Force-sensitive. When her mother caught her communing with the Living Force such that schools of fish, even large predatory toothed fish, swam around her in peace, she alerted her community leaders. The Nautolan turned to their Republic allies who called in the Jedi, and Vorraga’s life changed forever after. She departed to Tython to train in the Force with the good and just Jedi Order. Her innate talents with the Living Force complemented her keen mind, able to grasp even esoteric and complex subjects. It was no struggle to name her the Order’s aquatic world-assessor, an exploratory role that helped draw new worlds and systems into the Republic. Vorraga embraced this role proudly. Still in some ways an innocent, she remained unaware of how a greater destiny could arc her through and across the galaxy from this ambassadorial position into the forefront of the war of good against evil.
