Though Vin’fubi’ana was born on Naos III, she never could remember it or any other of her fellow Lethan Twi’leks who usually suffered in slavery on that planet. But of course that was because “Vinnah” suffered in slavery on Nar Shadaa instead. She was a “rug rat” on Hutta’s popular moon, the daughter of a hooker laboring in the brothels of Neero the Hutt. Vinnah’s mother turned out to be the favorite of an imperial colonel named Harrkel Emjoy, who frequently visited the moon’s pleasure quarters. When some Black Sun thug murdered her mom out of spite, Colonel Emjoy adopted Vinnah as a charity case. She had not squandered her youth on Nar Shadaa, and her acquired expertise in technology made her a suitable asset to the imperial army even before Darth Malgus’s ordinance on the employment of alien races went through. Though still technically a slave to the colonel, she served loyally and well in several fronts and incidents across the galaxy during the cold war. Her tendency for quiet discretion and reputation for shrewdness and wit drew the attention of Imperial Intelligence.
Intelligence recruited her, and Vinnah trained hard to become the best agent or assassin she could be. But her first kill turned out to be her adopting father and owner, Colonel Emjoy. It appeared he had merely waited all those years for the young Twi’lek to come of age and blossom into a woman before treating her as he did her mother. Vinnah had none of it and slit the old fat bastard’s throat. Now she not only had pledged her loyalty to Intelligence, they had her by the throat for the murder of her a high-ranking officer. From then on, through countless escapades and dangerous missions, for Vinnah it was duty and life or treachery and death.
