Storr -- "Reidar"

Description
It would not be shocking to fail to notice Storr until it's too late. This white dragon is quite long -- 26'5" from his beak-like snout to the tip of his tapered tail, and he weighs over 7,600 pounds. But the dragon's impenetrable scales glisten like ice, and there are patches of scales that sheen light-blue or gray, blending him perfectly into his icy habitat. Here and there his scales glitter where a diamond or some coin was lodged in between shivs. Spiny dewlaps decorate the drake's neck and throat. A single spine rises from the back of his skull, attached to which is a pale crest. His four legs end in keen black claws, the tips of which are slightly curved inwards. His mouth is a terrifying maw of small but numerous razor-sharp white teeth. Storr's wings are firm and leathery pinions that match the white and gray monochromatic design of his reptilian form. His draconian feature expresses single-minded ferocity, but he is no animal. Lurking behind those shark-black eyes is an intensity, an awareness that boasts that his single-minded ferocity is an operation of choice. Storr revels in the freezing and shattering of his enemies' bodies and minds, and his cunning seems unmatched in all the land.
Less impressive is Storr's rare occasion to take the guise of a man. In this shape, he only goes by his common name, Reidar. He stands six feet even and weighs 200 pounds -- a clever warrior packed with muscle. Yet he seems unarmed save for a long staff of twin-bound shafts of hickory. He wears the gray robes of a traveling hermit, and to the belt are attached a few pouches and a pair of diamond-bejeweled daggers in their sheathes. On his wrists are clasped a pair of bracers that seem to have been crafted from opal and etched with motifs of dragons, and their luminous beauty is breathtaking. A simple burlap sack is hitched at his back, and a number of lovely rings -- mostly diamond -- beset his dexterous fingers. Reidar appears to be a human male waning his 40s, still strong but his short black hair is shocked with gray. The most obvious trait to give away his true nature are his eyes, of course. They burn with a white fire of furious purpose and hidden danger.
History
Storr hatched 742 years ago on the Great Glacier of the arctic Glazios Ocean. That was where many white dragons laid their nests in ancient centuries past. There he was stuck for years while his mother brought he and his siblings food. At one point, when she was long delayed, the other hatchlings turned on each other. Smarter than that, Storr figured out how to use his wings despite his infancy, and flapped away from the others as they cannibalized each other. He ate well when his mother returned and found him as one of the only survivors! His life after that was a long depiction of turning survival of the fittest to survival of the smartest. He became known commonly as Reidar, named after a famous warrior that always scouted ahead. Storr used his greater cunning to seize more treasure, elude or defeat more enemies, and claim rights to the best possible mates.
He ended up dwelling in an ice cave hidden deep in the snowy peaks of the Skygar Mountains in Mautos. Storr spent centuries developing his treasure hoard just the way he wanted it. He whittled some years away just sleeping, but decided it was not for the best. He sometimes awoke missing bits and bobs, and was well aware that the mountains were filled with thieves -- drow and worse. He began to keep "trophies" of his skills -- the frozen heads of giants and elves -- on display in his cave as well. Despite his greater intellect that rose further with age and experience, Storr was not interested in forming alliances with other creatures. He far preferred to keep to himself and frighten off potential dangers (if he couldn't kill those dangers at least). Even after being so badly wounded in a clash with a giant remorhaz that he couldn't lift his head to stop a few thieves who dared his cave, Storr still refused to consider friendship. Instead, he began to look more inwardly, developing his sorcerous powers. Yet as he did, he began to realize that he might need an alliance with someone after all. He could only go so far studying the arcane on his own.
Personality
Storr is very possessive and independent. He prefers his privacy and seclusion, but will make an effort to destroy enemies that threaten him or his hoard. That often means he'll take the time to scheme and scout out his foes' homes before launching an all-out assault. He's purposely developed his sorcery to encompass other forms of elemental powers so he can battle frost giants more efficiently. If he were to forge an alliance, it would not be with those barbaric beasts, but perhaps with the shrewder drow that dwell in the mountain depths below his cave. Storr also feels as if it were his duty to try and prove that his race, white dragons, were as mighty as the rest of dragonkind. To that end, he labors to improve his magical prowess.
Goals
Storr will master the sorcerer class (20th level) before taking up a Prestige Class like archmage.
