Siltar Teraph
Description
To say the least, Siltar Teraph is a very impressive specimen of a centaur. He towers at seven and a half feet tall from hoof to head and must weigh over a ton thanks to his four-legged equine form. A sleek chestnut-brown coat covers most of his body up to the human torso, which is incredibly muscled and perfect. Rare black mithral chain covers most of that upper body and a dark steel horned helm disguises his handsome face. Only a hint of shadow cast over the grim expression hints at the cruel brown eyes as well as black goatee and mustache. A huge battleaxe is hoisted over shoulder, carried wherever he runs, which seems to be especially wherever trouble demands.
History
Siltar Teraph was born and raised in the Senna Woods of southeastern Verdentia within this centaur tribe. Almost thirty years ago, Siltar was born in the heart of this forest and raised as a child of nature like other centaurs. However, at the cusp of manhood, a terrible invasion poured over the forest. Giants and ogres were invading the woodlands and the centaurs went to battle. Siltar fought hard and felled more than one ogre. But the darklings did not stop. They kept coming no matter how hard the sylvans drove them back. He discovered a Temple of Skollos that had been sacked by the monsters, and the futility of the war began to infuriate the centaur. That was when the god himself contacted the warrior, whispering in his ear that the ways of nature were absolute and required a champion to uphold them against defilers. From then on, Siltar guarded nature’s holy places, punishing trespassers of all sorts.
Personality
Siltar is very, very serious. He is a grim and determined warrior, but also silently frustrated and pent-up. Like his more mystical sylvan allies and patron deity, Siltar is filled with insurmountable fury. He intends to maintain the natural order, and only punishes those who would violate it.
Goals
Siltar will pursue the fighter class to epic (20th-level+) heights.
