Sargon Ur

Description

Crow’s feet mar the corner of Sargon Ur’s black eye; a black eyepatch covers the left socket. The gray-skinned half-orc’s brow is wrinkled with shrewd and voracious want. Big and imposing, a perpetual sneer twists the mature orc priest’s expression. Over six feet tall and 170 pounds, Sargon clearly commands his full-blooded brethren through fear and cunning. A full suit of chain mail and a long, deadly spear assist his domination, too. When unarmored, Sargon is caught in the colors of his god, Povidarr. An ichorous green tunic is favored. No matter what, however, an air of pure menace always circulates Sargon Ur. Only hatred carves his path and only blood can sate his appetite.

History

Twenty-one years ago, Sargon Ur was brought into the brutal world of orcs in the Wildlands of Verdentia. He was the only half-orc son of his chieftain father, who took a human slave as one of his wives. Of course, Sargon was always treated as the half-breed that he was. Often whipped and always derided, the treatment only strengthened Sargon’s will. He respected if hated his father, and despised his weak, diffident mother. As Sargon matured, he received a vision from the orc god, Povidarr. He was to lead the Ur tribe to victory over all their enemies! He promptly speared his father and took over the tribe with the help of his fearsome clerical powers and shrewd schemes. To aid the transition of power, Sargon strangled his mother and the other whelp she birthed, thereby consolidating his position. He let the tribe linger in the Wildlands longer, but with promises of fortune and conquest, Sargon prepared to move he and his orcish family cross-country.

Personality

Charismatic and ambitious, Sargon can even seem like a nice guy. But it would most certainly be an act. He’s a domineering, brutal, and heartless beast of a man. He’s foul and unholy: downright evil. He leads his orcish people by ruthless command of their war-like ways, and offers no quarter to anyone who opposes him.

Goals

Sargon will pursue the cleric class to the 15th-level before taking up the prestige class of hierophant. After mastering it (5th-level), he will continue the cleric class to epic levels (20th-level+).
