Robin Meade
Description
Robin Meade looks like a delicate flower. The young woman hasn't surpassed her 20s yet, and boasts only average height and weight for a healthy human female. Robin has fair skin with light freckles, vibrant green eyes, and strawberry-blonde hair that she often binds back in a single ponytail. Robin wears a traveler's robe in periwinkle blue. Beneath, she's fitted with light leather mail. A number of pouches are attached to the woman's belt, and a pack of general survival gear is slung on her back. A light crossbow is holstered on her right leg. In hand, Robin carries a long staff of oak, curved and knobbed at the top. A wooden medallion hangs about her neck, depicting the scholarly order of Vaeon. Too young to be a professional sage, surely she must be a field gatherer of lore. With her charming smile, confident voice, and thoughtful gaze, it doesn't seem like Robin will have much trouble persuading others to tell her what they know.
History
Twenty-six years ago, Robin was born into the Meade family, which ran a simple inn business in Saffros, Elan. Robin helped about the inn when her parents required her to, but she by far preferred to spend her time with her nose in books. She loved to learn and daydream about faraway places. Her doting parents decided it only made sense to send the girl to the University of Vaeon in Timber. There Robin developed a keener understanding of magic and knowledge. Unlike others, however, she did not follow a path of self-empowerment. It was the gathering of lore and arcana itself that excited Robin, not its magical gains, and so she joined the small and cloistered unit of sage-priests at the University. In time, she graduated as an active servant of Vaeon. Now an adult, Robin decided to take to the road and perform research as she voyaged. Robin knew she'd need fellow adventurers to join up with for protection from monstrous elements on the road. But those same dangers also inspired Robin: just what went into the material foci of magic? Could the formulae be supplemented, changed, and altered with greater and rarer components? This was a hypothesis Robin devoted her life to henceforth.
Personality
Robin is pleasant, charming, sweet, sensitive, and vulnerable. The young woman is not as naïve as she appears, however. She has a keen intellect and superb judgment, and that's coupled with her strong character and driving purpose. Robin quietly admits to herself that she does not follow any particularly strong moral values. But at the same time, she doesn't crusade on any ethics either. She just does what she needs to do, and her pioneering spirit leaves moral concerns far behind.
Goals
Robin will follow the cleric class until at least 10th level, at which time she may multi-class as a wizard, and eventually become either a loremaster or mystic theurge.
