Qilana Amasci
Description
Like most elvenfolk, Qilana is only 4'9" and weighs barely 100 pounds. Slim but well-toned, fluid and strong, Qilana commands a body worthy of any elven fighter. The resemblance to landborne elves stops there, however. Qilana's skin is a silvery-green, her eyes are a sparkling argent, while her long hair is a rich, foamy green. When relaxed, Qilana wears only a dress made of woven seaweed, decorated with the loveliest shells. When ready for war, Qilana is girded in full body shark hide with reinforced pricky denticles (effectively, studded leather). A crossbow of bone and seasilk, a coral spear, and a seaweed net are also part of Qilana's arsenal. This sea elf knows her trade well. It shows in her lovely face, from those bright eyes to that rakish grin.
History
For a century, Qilana Amasci grew up in the coral kingdom of Entisixl, located in the northeastern shallows of the Devios Ocean. The sea elf was schooled young like all her kind in the art of maritime warfare. However, unlike many lackadaiscal sea elfwomen, Qilana demonstrated a much keener interest in the fighting arts. As she matured, she tested her skills in tournaments with other sea elves and merfolk. Qilana also defended her oceanic home from the rapacious sahuagin. Becoming especially deadly on the back of a dolphin or orca, Qilana was one of many reasons her people still frolic freely in the oceans.
Personality
Although fun-loving, Qilana recognizes when she must be serious. The sea elf doesn't mind saying what's on her mind even if it may offend. However, she's respectful of her elders and the divine powers of the sea. Qilana merely hopes to keep her people and culture safe from danger and she's aware her desire will cause her to see much blood in the coming years of her life.
Goals
Qilana intends to master the Fighter class (to 20th level) and then possibly take up the Dragon Rider prestige class.
