Piter Pirithous

Description

Piter is only in his mid-twenties, though carries himself with the shrewd sagacity of one who has already experienced much more. Handsome and charming to boot, Piter favors blacks and russet-browns. The cleric always appears immaculate, favoring garments of the highest quality. Blonde-haired and blue-eyed, Piter is a smirking devil in disguise. When expecting or planning strife, he wears fine leather mail and helm studded with iron rivets. A morningstar and silver symbol of a skull are always concealed on his person, too.

History

From youth, Piter Pirithous was exposed to the evil of the world. The human of simple origin witnessed his hometown's warlord ravage the people's fields, purses, property, and more. The commoners were at this cruel lord's mercy, and he spared little. Piter soon learned that the strong rule over the weak, that the strong survive and prosper…and that the weak do not. Still, Piter was a very intelligent young man. He worked as a page for a local wizard there in Terras, Darsix. He developed his manners and civilities as well as broadened his education. Piter's errand running also kept him in fair physical shape, too. But as he got older, he discovered he had no real interest in magic. While Piter believed strength was vital and a strong mind would prevail over all, magic seemed too cold and unspirited to him. When he visited another town on behalf of his sorcerous employer, Piter observed a life-changing incident. The townsfolk were lured not by some mystical enchantment but a charismatic priest. He saw one after another willingly sacrifice themselves to a dark god to empower the evil cleric. So Piter took up that path, leaving Terras to seek out and study at a temple of Samsura. However, Piter didn't really worship the Butcher. He found himself merely a servant of the elements of evil and dedicated his life to the spread of mayhem. Piter began to travel Darsix, corrupting innocence as he found it.

Personality

At heart, Piter is a vile, sadistic, and villainous bastard. But he seems too smooth and urbane, civilized and silver-tongued, to be that wicked. Of course, Piter is a dedicated servant of evil and an ambitious diabolist. Though he doesn't mind partaking in a little carnage, Piter prefers more social avenues of instigating chaos and villainy.

Goals

Piter will seek to pursue his dark priesthood to its mastered end (20th level). Then he might consider a prestige class like Hierophant or even Blackguard.
