Bio
Cousin to Nycola and Cambyos, Nataliss’s life revealed how strong the Force ran in the Stormfall family. Nataliss emerged her gift early in life and left behind her family – her father brother, mother Saraa, and brother Dayanth – to train on Tython, as one of the first young padawans to train there. For many years, Nataliss committed herself happily to the study and the Jedi Code. Then duty called Nataliss from her padawan learning to the front lines of the galactic Cold War against the Sith Empire. The young warrior joined the open fight on Balmorra. The heat of lasers and blasts of shrapnel stole thousands of lives. Nataliss saw comrade and friend, one after another, fall to the brutality of the Sith. She, too, suffered immensely. With her lightsaber, Nataliss destroyed a walker but was pinned to the wreckage by twin Mandalorians’ grapples. Nataliss saved a squad of Republic troopers at nearly the cost of her own life.
So, she spent the next six months in a kolto tank, comatose. When Nataliss finally recovered, brain damage remained correctable only by cybernetic implants. Tragically, expected bitterness entrenched because the areas of her brain so damaged were judgment and ethical centers. Cybernetics could not truly compensate. As Nataliss matriculated back into the Jedi Academy, her shifts in thinking lured her to the Dark Side. The decisions and consequences proved subtle at first. She passed the final Jedi tests without concern and became a full-fledged knight. Then Nataliss rejoined the war on the Sith Empire. Her sense of justice never wavered but her forbearance and mercy did. She grew colder and more brutal, and slowly the Dark Side crept into her damaged mind. Hers truly was a tale of tragedy, certain to compound over time.
