Marduul Black

Description

Marduul Black epitomizes evil in his very appearance. Tall, dark, and handsome he may be, but it is sinister beauty – from the tip of his slender forked tail to the tip of his classic black goatee. Marduul’s narrow face often bears a malevolent grin and red eyes burn with a voracious zeal. Black spiked leather encases his lean and puissant figure. A long bow intricately carved from petrified demonwood is readily at hand. A trained and able killer, Marduul lives for the next hunt.

History

Marduul Black, like his twin sister Mardaua, had the distinct honor of being the grandchildren of the demon prince Graz’zt. Their mother was a succubus whore who took the form of an incubus in order to satisfactorily reward an evil human priestess. Her offspring were taken back to the Abyss and there raised as fiendish offspring in Graz’zt’s great house. But no brothel life was meant for Marduul and his twin. Instead, their penchant for hateful violence was tapped, channeled, and honed into a killer instinct. Now in his mid-20s, Marduul felt as prepared as a tiefling could be for the role his terrifying family expects: a murderer of pesky angels and celestials that forever dog the steps of the denizens of the Abyss.

Personality

Marduul Black is as malevolent as a tiefling raised in a demonic brothel in the Abyss would be expected. He views the world entirely through inhuman eyes and hungers for the thrill of killing. Though the enemies that his patrons would direct him against are frighteningly powerful, the acerbic and malicious Marduul is eager to attack. So eager in fact that he hasn’t paid a whole lot attention to the general knowledge a hunter should know…

Goals

Marduul will likely remain a ranger until epic levels (20th-level+), if he can survive that long against his deadly adversaries from the Upper Planes.
