Kylen Aegeiro

Description

Flowers are thought to be fragile and gentle. Princess Kylen Aegeiro proves why they do not have to be. The lean wood elf proudly comports herself in the finest of cloth yet with minimal adornment. Golden hair serves better than any crown and blue eyes shine brighter than any jewels. Though one of the fairest ladies one may ever behold, Kylen’s serious expression bares no time for the whimsy her kin so often enjoy. There is a tension to her elegance that reveals the true stress under which she, like any princess, endures. Her privilege is her punishment, and she bears it with as much dignity as an elf may muster.

History

From the House of Golden Doors, Tempana, the royal family of Aegeiro rules the Skosalvir with famous kindness and firmness. Warden Halas and his wife Ulesse had many children over the years. As any ruling lord must be, Halas was willing to part with daughters to cement diplomatic ties. To serve as a lady-in-waiting, he sent young Kylen to Verdentia and to the court of Vallis. To his credit, despite his reputation of madness, the human lord did not take advantage of Kylen—not personally anyway. Instead, he treated her as if she were a princess of his own house, and sent her away with his actual daughter, Ainthe, when she was given in marriage to an ogre king called Grul Crushstone. Kylen at first promised to be strong for her human companion. But Grul’s power overshadowed them all and no one knew of her travails. Kylen soon found herself in the ogre’s harem, but resolved herself to survive, to save herself and her friends, and see justice done upon Vallis for this crime.

Personality

As an acolyte of Eikra as well as trained in the fine arts as any aristocrat would, Kylen walks the talk of being a bright star of hope. She stands sturdy and confident in her own being and tries to provide a role model for her friends.

Goals

Kylen sees herself truly as the rock upon which others may lean and rely on, which means though she’ll dabble with bardic music, she’ll focus on her clerical devotions. She may even take up the hierophant prestige class someday.
