The Stormfalls were a storied family of heroes from Nubia. Cambyos and Nycola, Nataliss and Dayanth, these represented the young future of the family. Damaaro stood as a patriarch. Where then did fit Kamrand? A young cousin of Damaaro, Kamrand inherited no gift with the Force. Yet, his life seemed guided by it. A commercial pilot, he earned his wings by flying a commercial freighter and managing to escape an Imperial cruiser, dispatched to punish a single mysterious passenger on Kamrand’s craft. His heroism flying the “Asbru” earned him punishment from the Republic security services who investigated the incident. He was terminated and defrocked as a legal pilot for “endangering” the crew and passengers by fleeing the imperials. What else was he to do now but become an illegal pilot?
Kamrand spent a few years as an honest loader and crewman on a few different vessels. With that money, Kamrand acquired his own modest ship. Despite his lack of licenses or permits, Kamrand tapped contacts made over the years. He began to transfer goods of all sorts. His smuggling landed him in trouble frequently, but he always managed to talk or bargain his way out of it. That was, until Ord Mantell ran him afoul of imperial sympathizers. Kamrand stood up to the challenge, and he was drawn into the greater galactic conflict, whether true hero or roguish scoundrel.
