Bio
Harsh climates produced either monsters or heroes and hardy survivors either way. Mirial’s golden son, Emin Pelst, proved the hardy hero to which the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic alike could emulate. His upbringing included classical training, and while he evinced Force sensitivity such as mild telekinesis while young, his wealthy family kept him from Jedi training at first. They wanted him to have a “proper” rearing as long as possible. Emin resisted, his sense of moral propriety strong even then, and he defied his parents by appealing to the local Jedi Master who oversaw Force awakenings on that planet. Master M’zul Enc saw the boy’s forthrightness and helped him convince his parents to do the right thing. Soon, Emin’s education continued…into the more esoteric disciplines of the Force.
Always upright, good, decent, and virtuous, Emin remained a model student and later a model Jedi on Tython. He helped maintain the sanctity of Jedi relics and lore, and pursued loose ends and rumors all across the galaxy. The Republic recruited him as an ambassador as well as archaeologist. As with all tasks, he performed admirably. While rarely a participant in all-out battle, he engaged in numerous skirmishes with the Imperial Reclamation Services and the power-lusting Sith sorcerers who so often accompanied them. Such was the case when he joined forces with the Stormfalls on Gorse and Ilum. Their stars crossed ever since.
