Dai Rin
Description
Dai Rin is slightly shorter than humans of Estonen, but the well-built Asian man possesses stock and stands at full height. Dai's skin has a golden tint and his eyes a slight slant. His hair would be a silky black, but he shaves bald. His brown eyes are keen and attentive. He wears the typical monk's outfit in off-white, his belt sash a plainer white. His monasteric weapons are concealed in the silk folds. Sandals occupy his confident and relentless steps along his long path.
History
Dai Rin derived from the far off continent of Wutai, born in the land of Chan Tin. There the man was orphaned during a brutal war. The boy was given over to a monastery, the Jui Han Temple, and risen by powerful but wise monks. He learned the ways of fighting and the true purpose of battle: to enforce control and establish harmony in the world. To that end, barbarianism was to be suppressed. Thus, in his homeland, order was promptly restored when the war was over. Many monks from his monastery entered a diaspora period. They scattered across the land in all four directions. But as so many monks explored the land of Wutai, Dai decided to take to the sea. Consequently, the monk became acquainted with other cultures and races. As a sailor, Dai's life seemed even simpler than before. But he was constantly plagued with the dangerous of the chaotic oceans. He joined the crew of the "Sashelas" and proved a handy man to have onboard indeed, helping to repel pirates and sahuagin alike.
Personality
Quiet and stoic, Dai Rin rarely has anything to say. He's glad to be appreciated by his fellow sailors due to his impressive martialry. The monk seeks harmony within as well as without. Hence, he trains and meditates in his spare time. He knows his goal is not so impossible if he walks the right road.
Goals
Dai Rin will only ever pursue the Monk class (to 20th level and beyond).
