Cessair Fen
Description
Slender yet strong-boned, Cessair appears to be a human woman from a distance. A cloak often conceals her more serpentine features, however, such as the olive tint to her skin, unblinking and slitted black eyes, sharp angles to her features, and scaly patches on her limbs and neck. Under the cloak, Cessair wears studded brown leather armor, silky black hair pulled up under her leather helm. She carries her bow openly, scimitar sheathed at her side.
History
The Tinder Islands were always home to many dangerous creatures. Fire giants, red dragons, and yuan-ti would name a few. Among the Sear'Den people, pure-blooded yuan-ti were unusually rare. Human slaves were often needed to practice procreation of these purebloods. Cessair's father was one such slave. After she was born, the yuan-ti purebloods moved to the mainlands of Darsix. So Cessair grew up in the vicinity of other races, particularly humans. The territorial clashes she witnessed killed her mother. Cessair embraced hatred for her race's many enemies, especially mankind. Hate fueled her ambition and ambition empowered her studies and training within underground lairs under human cities. Eventually, Cessair was considered ready to hunt the enemies of the yuan-ti. She and others soon moved under Barbus, capitol of Darsix, and prepared to divide and conquer.
Personality
Get them before they get you -- that sums up Cessair's mistrustful perspective regarding most things not yuan-ti. She respects nature, true, but she believes nature was designed so that only the strong survive. Thus, Cessair strives to be the most brilliant and deadly killer among her kind.
Goals
Cessair intends to master the Ranger class; she might consider the Assassin prestige class at some point, too. She has no other professional intentions except to hone her crafty killing skills.
