The prized son of Brennt and Sandri Stormfall, Cambyos's determination and fair-mindedness saw him do well in school in Nuba City's quiet outskirts. Whereas his sister was more the academic, the strapping young Cambyos seemed to have a knack for athletics. Grav-ball drew him like a magnetar and he soon excelled as captain of the team. He might have had a career pro if a Republic army recruiter didn't catch his eye during a family trip to Coruscant. He signed right up when the sergeant appealed to his sense of duty and chance to prove he was more than a farm machine mechanic in the making.
Like grav-ball, Callyvn excelled at soldiery. His natural charisma, easy going and without conceit, helped rally his fellow troops. His skills fast-tracked him into commando school. After graduation, he cut his teeth in Advanced Forward Assault Battalion (AFAB) fighting Imperial troops (and Rakaans) on Rakaa IV. His cool under pressure earned him his comrades' respect and superiors' commendations. He volunteered for cybernetic enhancements, namely neurological implements to improve his already daunting reaction time. Soon, Cambyos found himself being promoted to Havoc Squad, deployed to Ord Mantell, and facing the conflict that rocked the squad, the Republic, and indeed all the galaxy thereafter.
