Brog Ebissa
Description
Both burly and languid, this hobgoblin marches forward in ironshod boots and black leather mail fitted with bronze studs. Brog's left hand clutches a broad steel shield embossed with an image of a griffon sweeping down to pounce. A sword is belted at his waist and a keen bow across his back. Brog is 6'5" and close to 200 pounds of pure, well-honed muscle and soldierly grace and confidence. The hobgoblin's skin is a red-orange in hue, his hair short if jagged in style and a natural dark red-brown. His eyes are cold, penetrating, and a plain brown in hue. His face is broad while his chin and nose are flattened features as typical to his race. Despite this uncomely face, Brog commands a sense of confidence and strength, and radiates his fearlessness, that makes it easier for him to be a leader, not a follower. Brog will one day command legions and the world will fear his name.
History
Only 19 years old, Brog Ebissa was just another squealing mouth to feed in the hobgoblin bastion of Fort Eoda, Darsix. He soon proved to be far more useful to the Eoda Legions, however. He took to military training with the delight and fascination of all hobgoblins. While most of his people trained diligently, Brog trained with a natural talent. Coupled with his dedicated spirit to martial prowess, he soon rose above the common warrior. He was soon dispatched with a special contingent to the Tinder Islands in the Gulf of Vind. The hobgoblins had a special mission and his skill earned him a place in their midst. Proud of his accomplishments so far, Brog knew one day he would be a general.
Personality
Brog is faithful to the hobgoblin race, believing it his task to lead his fellow warriors into glorious battle against all their oppressive foes (especially the elves, who bear a special and jealous hatred for his strong race). The hobgoblin has no patience for laziness or weakness in himself or others. Quite the perfectionist, it shows in his martial abilities and he knows it, though so far hasn't let that go to his head.
Goals
Brog will master the Fighter class (20th level) and beyond to become unmatched in every arena of combat.
