Angus Alroy
Description
In the twinkle of an eye, Angus Alroy may just appear before one's eyes. The 3'8" leprechaun comports all sixty pounds of body weight with pride and irascibility. Though short and squat, this sprite possesses eternal youth and vigor and his body is firm and toughened by many days under the sun. Though his skin is tanned and well-weathered, and his flame-red hair and goatee have been sun-bleached to muter orange hues, he isn't really ugly. Angus commands an imposing presence when he lets it be known, especially due in part to his loud and no-nonsense tone of voice. Pixie-ish is his choice of dress -- bright leggings and tunic, and perhaps a shirt of fine silvery mithral if expecting battle. Then also would a masterful short sword crafted for a creature his size would be seen strapped at his belt. While often unseen and reserved in nature, when Angus Alroy attention he'll make sure everyone knows it. And then he might just disappear again, in but a shrewd wink of a brown eye. Aye, Angus is a leprechaun, and accountable only to be sneaky, deceitful, tricksy, and fey clear to the heart.
History
For several decades, Angus Alroy was only raised by his mum. She taught him all the tricks and ways of the leprechaun, being one herself (as was his daddy, of course). When he came of age in his sixth decade, he earned his leave from his mother. Angus left her a four-leaf clover: the rare find was a symbol of his rite of passage, as per leprechaun tradition. The sprite then began to gather his own horde of gold and other wealth, as per his personal inclinations. Angus honed his skill at stealing through sneaky robberies or clever framing of travelers. However, not long after his 108th birthday, Angus had the tables turned on him. Some jackass dared to steal his gold. Argh! Naturally, Angus went on the warpath, hunting down the scoundrels responsible. He turned over every stone and peeked into every nook. Though he met with no immediate success, the willful leprechaun had far from given up. Nobody steals from Angus Alroy!
Personality
Angus is understandably irritable and angry. His greed is built-in, not a corruption of desire. Angus is a leprechaun and deserves that wealth! Willful as Angus may be, he's cunning not foolish. Above all, he's intent on recollecting his horde…with interest.
Goals
Angus will multiclass from the start as a Rogue and Sorcerer. Later, he will take up the prestige class of Arcane Trickster.
